B.R.A.I.N Insight Practice

When you feel the body from the inside, there is a door. —Eugene Gendlin

I created five step (B.R.A.I.N) Mindfulness Insight practice to help in resolving suppressed emotions, trauma, or for exploration of deeper states of consciousness.

Mindfulness practice:
Is cultivated by paying attention in a sustained and particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.
1) systematically regulating our attention and energy;
2) thereby influencing and possibly transforming the quality of our experience;
3) in the service of realizing the full range of our humanity and of, our relationship to others and the world.

Insight practice
A inner method aimed at exploring a personal experience and reactions to that experience.
By transcending the usual way of looking in order to assume a different perspective.
One through which you can acquire insight into unconscious patterns, enabling them to be less reactive in dealing with life’s challenges.

Mindfulness Insight: Feel the feelings and drop the story.
We look for a way back to the experience as it presented itself.
We unravel the story, dismantling it.
We go back to the primary sensations, the fibers of raw material that made up the experience.
We strip the veils from it, removing the layers of concepts, associations, and memories that thinking had wrapped around the experience.
